To this end we have unified procedures for Quality and Workplace Health and Safety Management, adapting them to international standards that drive us to be efficient and ensure safe working conditions, as well as committing to a process of continuous improvement.

  Although the company’s Quality Management has been certified under ISO 9001:2008, its procedure manuals are also compliant with OHSAS 18001:2007 Standards. This Occupational Health and Safety specification is an international standard that defines Health and Safety system requirements, allowing organizations to control their risks and improve their performance.

  We train our personnel and our sub-contractors, raising awareness and creating the necessary skills to be able to carry out all tasks with the appropriate care and risk prevention. We believe that the responsibility for achieving excellence in workplace health and safety is the task of each one of us.

  Quality management

  We constantly seek to optimise our work by striving for improved quality in our end product. That is why we have obtained certification under ISO 9001:2008 Standards from Certifying Company Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

  We work on the publication and implementation of procedures and manuals, supervised by our internal Quality Control Manager.

  Our Unified Management System (UMS) is based on ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2005 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. The aim of the UMS is to provide a framework for the Integrated Quality Management and Workplace Health and Safety System and the Environmental Management of Constructora Sudamericana , as well as to communicate UMS policies and strategic objectives to all the personnel involved in the various processes carried out in the company.

  In certain specific instances, when the demands of the project call for it, special instructions are drawn up so as to meet contractual requirements, establishing a quality plan based on the particular features of the job.
